SLK AS 30 Automatic Sampler

Designed to completely automate the operation of the SLK 200. The SLK-AS-30 Auto Sampler will pick up a sample from a module contaning sample tubes, weigh it, and insert it in the Spinlock equipment for measurement. Then it returns the sample again to its original position or may further classify it on a dierent criterion. Scalable Modules: Includes three 20-sample modules.

The SLK AS 30 Auto Sampler will pick up a sample from a module containg sample tubes, weigh it, and insert it in the Spinlock equipment for measurement. Then it returns the sample again to its original position or may further classify it on a different criterion.
The SLK AS 30 contains 3 20 -sample modules that are heated to stabilize temperature. Sample Holders: Teflon/Glass Ø 40 mm tubes.
A complete automation sequence brings operation time under 1 minute.

SLK AS 30 Software

All Spinlock Software is developed entirely in-house, compatible with MS-Windows based computers to control the SLK 200 and visualize all results. Signals and measurements can be saved in a database which is then exported to .dat, .pdf and .xls type of files (MS-Excel). The SLK200 works with a USB port and can be connected to a desktop CPU or a laptop. And is updated regularly.

Specific requirements concern avoidance of introducing ferromagnetic tools or instruments inside the equipment as permanent damage may occur. Even though it may be located close to ferromagnetic materials, it is recommended to keep away (1 meter / 3 ft) elements that have magnets, antennas, electrical power transformers and other possible sources of electromagnetic interference.

Depending on the application. Generally, for Sunflower or Peanut the Oleic and Linoleic acid content measurement are unique advantages of the SLK 200.

<strong>Oil/Fat & Moisture content:</strong> 4 seconds.</br>
<strong>Oleic/Linoleic:</strong> 20 seconds. However, Spinlock recommends using temperature “Stabilization Time” option activated which delays the measurement time to 3 minutes and 20 seconds.

It is recommended to clean the sample from ‘foreign matter’ as this should not be part of the weight, particularly for fat content measurement. However, nothing impedes the equipment from correctly measuring a sample with foreign matter. Chemically treated samples of sunflower for example can be measured.
Sample grinding is not required for grain, the measurement is non-destructive, and samples are not altered during NMR measurements.

Room temperature should be controlled and stable at 25º C / 77º F.

It is preferred and recomended that the SLK 200 PC has internet access to allow for connection to Spinlock’s Online Helpdesk Service via remote desktop.

YES. The use of online UPS is recommended specially on remote field locations where atmospheric discharges can occur or the power line is not stable and clean thoughout the year.

The SLK 200 in standard configuration will include: the NMR main body, 2 sample holders for bulk analysis, software for measurement and a desktop CPU (no monitor/keyboard/mouse and other peripherals included.
